District Manager

Job Title District Manager Position Overview Wingstop is looking for a results-driven, hands‑on District Manager who provides leadership, oversees staff, and assists the General Managers to achieve short- and long-term company objectives. The District Manager ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and OSHA guidelines, maximizing guest experience and profitability while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of Restaurant Management or 1 year of District Management experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent service skills. Ability to maintain an organized store in terms of structure, administration, and products. 21 years of age or older. Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area. Can help create structure within the organization through training, motivating, and hiring. Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system. Can work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). Can lift up to 50 pounds. Can determine appropriate disciplinary action per company policies and procedures. Can work up to 10‑hour shifts and up to 50‑60 hours per week. Self‑motivated; does not need to be micro‑managed. Hands‑on and able to handle all basic restaurant tasks such as cooking, cashiering, and cleaning. Knowledge of inventory and labor control. Duties & Responsibilities Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs. Read the Operations Manual. Ensure guests receive responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times. Ensure food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards. Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance and sanitation through training and a positive working environment. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash‑handling and reconciliation procedures. Make employment and termination decisions. Step in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Develop staff through managerial and professional development. Prepare paperwork, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner. Maintain equipment in excellent working condition and follow preventative maintenance programs. Ensure proper receipt of products and perform deliveries in accordance with the receiving policies. Ensure employee performance appraisals are completed on time. Schedule labor to meet business activity while controlling labor cost objectives. Approve weekly schedules before publishing. Administer consistent corrective action for violations of company policies. Comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations governing health, safety and labor. Develop, plan and carry out restaurant marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Communicate thoroughly and effectively on all issues with Owner/Director of Operations. Conduct weekly QSC inspections at required locations. Ensure managers are trained on workflow procedures and weekly inventory counts. Administrative Duties Set and meet goals for service, operations, and financial results. Maintain excellent customer service standards. Maintain property and equipment. Inspect and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines. Perform front‑line customer service. Participate in weekly performance Zoom calls with management teams. Work Location Multiple locations.
