A Maintenance Worker has a diverse range of responsibilities focused on maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the premises. Here are some key job duties typically associated with this position: (This position travels between multiple locations)

1. **Routine Maintenance and Repairs:** Performing regular checks and maintenance of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. This includes replacing or repairing fixtures, wiring, and equipment.

2. **Facility Inspections:** Conducting regular inspections of the premises to identify areas needing repair or maintenance. This could involve checking for structural issues, ensuring fire safety equipment is operational, and inspecting utilities.

3. **Groundskeeping:** If the facility has outdoor areas, duties may include lawn care, landscaping, clearing walkways and parking areas, and maintaining outdoor fixtures.

4. **Equipment Maintenance:** Ensuring that all equipment used within the facility is functioning correctly. This might involve lubricating machinery, replacing parts, and performing preventive maintenance.

5. **Cleaning and Upkeep:** Performing general cleaning tasks, such as clearing debris, fixing minor leaks, painting, and ensuring common areas are neat and well-maintained.

6. **Emergency Repairs:** Responding to urgent maintenance requests or situations, such as power outages, plumbing issues, or security system failures.

7. **Compliance with Safety Standards:** Ensuring that the facility complies with health and safety regulations. This includes identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action.

8. **Inventory Management:** Keeping track of maintenance supplies and materials and reordering as necessary. This may also involve managing a budget for maintenance expenses.

Maintenance Workers often need to be versatile, able to handle a variety of tasks, and comfortable working with different tools and equipment.
