Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Title: A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician with (FAA A&P License) Role with (Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Inspection, Airworthiness, Airframe, Power Plant Experience) with General Aviation/ Aircrafts - Piper, Archers, Cherokees, Seminoles, Cirrus, Beechcraft, Mooney, Diamond) Location: Georgetown, TX , United States Duration: Full Time Permanent Opportunity Interview: Phone (No Interview, Confirmation only in 2 Calls) Direct Client Salary/ Hourly Rates: (On Experience Basis) + All Benefits (401K/ 401K matching + Dental, Medical, Health, Life & Vision Insurance + Paid Time Off + Life Insurance + Retirement Plan + Health Savings account etc.) OT: OT rates would be TIME and HALF Experience: Minimum 2-3 Years experience with "Piper Archers/ Cherokees/, Seminoles" - General Aviation (GA) is preferred. If not have experience with Piper Aircrafts, then must have experience with "Cessna, Cirrus, Beechcraft, Mooney & Diamond Aircrafts". Note: Must be an independent candidate (able to work on W2/ Per Diem) or must be presently working in United States. Must be able to work onsite to any of the mentioned locations. Must be able to relocate to any of the Client's Location at your own expenses. Must have their own Tools/ Tools Kit which have to bring with them to the project. Must be able to work on Per Diem Split. Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks. Must have a valid USA Driving License. Must be able to pass 10 Year's Criminal/ Employment Background Check & Pre-Employment Drug Screen Test.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION & License: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Valid & Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three recent and consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P. Experience on Piper aircraft (Archers/ Cherokees/ Seminole) OR "Cirrus/ Beechcraft/ Diamond & Mooney" is preferred. G1000 experience is a plus.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Can work independently with the ability to make airworthiness decisions. Ability to manage workflow and adjust priorities as needed. Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations. Will be required to make aircraft logbook entries and release aircraft for return to service. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and able to learn Talon RMS computer maintenance program.

EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED:

General office equipment such as facsimile, copier, personal computer, etc. Vehicle operation such as company van, truck, golf cart, aircraft etc. as required. Will require the use of various pieces of shop equipment and tools. Exposure to solvents, aviation gasoline, etc.

PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Will be working in many environments inside and outside of the facility. Will have extensive exposure to aircraft, simulators, outside conditions and equipment. May have some medium lifting up to 50 lbs. May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing, bending and stooping.
