Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor supports the Audit Department by evaluating operational and financial processes, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability across the organization. Key responsibilities include: Document and test internal processes and controls Prepare and review audit findings and action plans Conduct full-cycle audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting Complete other assignments as needed Key Skills and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of internal control principles with practical experience in planning, executing, and reporting on business process evaluations Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism Skilled in conducting operational audits and performing internal control assessments Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and leadership, supported by strong analytical and business acumen High commitment to integrity and ethical standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing timely updates to stakeholders Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and business applications, including Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Solid understanding of industry regulations and recognized best practices Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and a minimum of one year audit or accounting experience CPA or CIA certification preferred (completed or in progress) #J-18808-Ljbffr Air Transport Services Group, Inc.
