Our culture is driven by innovation, collaboration, and a passion for solving real-world challenges — all in a fun, inclusive, and rewarding work environment.In this role, you'll be at the center of a highly collaborative, global process—coordinating complex shipments, managing logistics partners, and ensuring smooth execution from factory to customer delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and compare freight quotes from carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutionsCoordinate complex shipments for large, heavy equipment, including trucking, ocean freight, crane services, and specialized transportMonitor production timelines and machine readiness to align shipping schedules with factory commitmentsPartner with Sales Support to understand customer requirements, Incoterms, delivery expectations, and documentation needsTrack shipments in transit and maintain accurate status reporting, including key milestones and delivery timelinesCommunicate shipment updates, risks, and delays clearly and proactively to internal stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate potential risks such as scheduling conflicts, port congestion, or equipment constraintsCollaborate with internal teams during high-volume periods to meet shipping commitmentsEnsure timely preparation and coordination of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of ladingRequired Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipTechnical KnowledgeUnderstanding of Incoterms and their impact on shipping responsibility and riskFamiliarity with logistics requirements for heavy or oversized equipmentWorking knowledge of shipping documentation, including export and freight documentationCore CompetenciesStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate risks earlyEffective communication and collaboration skills across teams and regionsPreferred ExperienceExperience in logistics, shipping coordination, freight forwarding, or manufacturing environmentsExperience coordinating oversized, heavy-haul, or international shipmentsFamiliarity with export requirements and global shipping processesOur Culture & ValuesAt Sandvik, our values guide everything we do:Customer Focus – We deliver value that makes a differenceInnovation & Curiosity – We continuously learn and improveResponsibility – We act with integrity and accountabilityWinning Together – We collaborate to achieve successBenefitsHealth care coverage (medical, dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine) starting 30 days after hire.Paid vacation with up to 80 hours rollover.Paid parental leave (eligibility after 12 months)401(k) with 5% annual salary contribution + 50% match on the first 6% starting 90 days after hire.Tuition reimbursement and professional development support.A diverse, inclusive workplace where innovation thrives.
