What You'll Do:

• Evaluate patient functions through formal and informal assessments across neurological, skeletal, respiratory, and cognitive areas.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Coordinate with physicians to submit and update treatment regimes and plans of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students in compliance with standards.
• Recommend and assist with adaptive/supportive equipment procurement.
• Document patient responses and treatment progress for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and community health education.
• Act as a case manager for assigned clients, ensuring quality care delivery.

What You Need:

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapy license
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient settings (preferred but not mandatory for new grads)
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional growth
