Resident Care Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our assisted living community in Berryville, VA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a warm and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide compassionate support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and engaging community atmosphere. Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents. Assist with medication reminders and other health-related tasks under supervision. Collaborate with team members to deliver personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to assisted living care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Resident Care Associate or in assisted living preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a care team. Basic knowledge of resident care practices and safety protocols. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
