Resident Medication Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Medication Associate to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong medication knowledge, excellent direct care skills, and the necessary certification to safely assist residents with their medication needs. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with the administration of prescribed medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Maintain accurate medication records and documentation. Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns promptly to nursing staff. Provide direct care support to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management. Adhere to all regulatory and certification requirements related to medication administration. Required Skills and Qualifications Certification as a Resident Medication Associate or equivalent credential. Strong knowledge of medications, including administration techniques and potential side effects. Proven direct care skills with experience working in a healthcare or residential care setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a recognized Resident Medication Associate certification program.
