Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. The position offers two shifts: 1st/3rd shift from 3:30 am to 12:30 pm with required Saturday overtime until 1 pm or 2 pm, and 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with required Saturday overtime until 1 am or 2 am.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections and tests on food products to ensure compliance with GMP and quality assurance standards.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain records for quality assurance purposes.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of food quality experience.
• Proficiency in quality control and assurance processes within a food manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and documentation practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Spanish speaking skills are a plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
