Available to teach in adjunct capacity in RN-BSN program as needed. This is a 9-month academic year position with a tenure-track appointment. **RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Teaching in ASN Program (Primary) or RN-BSN program (Adjunct)* Incorporate student learning teaching/learning strategies in classroom and lab/clinical instruction.* Participate in Department of Nursing and University Committees.* Ensure student compliance with health requirements.* Participate in student counseling and advising.* Schedule office hours in compliance with University Policy.* Evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical courses.* Develop course schedules and syllabi in compliance with department and University policies. **QUALIFICATIONS:*** Master’s degree in Nursing* Two years clinical experience as register nurse* Obtain Certified Nurse Educator credential within 3 years of hire* Active Louisiana RN license or Compact LicenseCPR certified with documented health compliance as required of nursing faculty## Additional Job Description:## Competencies:None## Special Instructions:Application Instructions: Please attach a Resume, a cover letter, 3 letters of recommendation and unofficial transcripts.
