Gain experience in procurement processes while working with advanced procurement software systems. What’s a typical day as a Purchasing Specialist? You’ll be: Assisting in sourcing products, materials, and services from approved vendors to meet operational needs. Preparing, reviewing, and processing purchase orders (POs) while ensuring compliance with company policies and budget requirements. Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules, as well as tracking orders and following up on delayed shipments. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Have a minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing experience in a fast-paced environment. Possess strong negotiation and communication skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
