State of Location: New Jersey Position Summary As a Pediatric Physical Therapy Resident at Ivy Rehab for Kids, you will be a full‑time teammate as you complete the Ivy Rehab Pediatric Residency Program. Job Description Physical Therapy – Pediatric Resident / (Full‑time, 40 hours/week) Ivy Rehab for Kids - Outpatient Pediatric Ivy Rehab Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency Program Position Qualifications / Admissions Criteria Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program Active PT licensure in current state of practice, prior to residency start date Employed as a full‑time therapist for at least three months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date Required membership in an associated professional organization by the start of the residency Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study Commitment to taking the ABPTS Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) exam at earliest eligibility Commitment to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post‑graduation from the program Program Requirements Completion of all required didactic modules (300+ hours) Completion of all assessments, logs, and forms Passing of all required quizzes Satisfactory completion of required presentations Optional completion of case report abstract Completion of residency special project Completion of 100 mentor hours Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during the residency year Attendance and participation in all scheduled residency education events Satisfactory achievement of all resident core competencies Financial Obligations Program tuition: $4,500 Can be paid in full, or over a 1‑ or 2‑year payment plan through paycheck deductions As a full‑time employee of Ivy Rehab for Kids, each program participant will maintain their salary commensurate with hours worked per week and maintain their benefits throughout the program Two‑year employment commitment post‑graduation to satisfy the financial investment each participant receives Benefits and Support Clinical team support: opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and peer‑to‑peer learning Limitless CEU learning: subscriptions, on‑demand learning, in‑person and live online courses, discounts with preferred education providers, and annual CEU reimbursement Clinical development plan: creation of a professional development roadmap annually Clinical career ladder: reward and recognition of skill development and accomplishment Continuing education offerings: orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling, pelvic health, vestibular, pediatrics, and more Residency and fellowship programs: multiple opportunities to accelerate clinical development and lead to specialty certification Specialty programs: self‑guided education providing structure and quality teaching that leads to specialization in key areas of PT, OT, and SLP We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruiting and employment process.
