RESPONSIBILITIES

Support of customers with telephone and onsitetroubleshooting and diagnosis procedure Work in an unsupervised environment toprovide installation, troubleshooting, repair,and preventive maintenance services forHermle’s products at customer locations in atimely manner Briefing and training of customers Installation of retrofits Periodic overseas travel to Germany forlearning the product line and maintaining thatproduct knowledge Daily work time reporting through timemanagement system Weekly submission of service reports as wellas expense reports Performs other duties and responsibilities asrequested

REQUIREMENTS

High School/GED or equivalent, and at least 4 years of professional experience as Service Technician Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues of machine tools Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Siemens control systems Proficient knowledge of electronic and mechanical aspects of CNC machines, preferably 5-axis machines Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics in machine tools Proficiency in using computers Professional Interaction with Customers Microsoft Office knowledge is mandatory Extensive travel is required (including international) Besides the fantastic state of the art facility and career growth we also offer an excellent Benefit Program that among others includes Medical Coverage, Dental Coverage, Life Insurance, Long-term and Short-term Disability Insurance and a Retirement Plan (401K).
