About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Perioperative Services to oversee the clinical services within this critical department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning and delivery of nursing and multidisciplinary patient care, ensuring high-quality professional practice, and leading the development of mission, vision, strategic plans, and quality improvement programs. This role requires a leader with a strong background in healthcare, including a minimum of 10 years in a large, matrixed organization, and a Bachelor's and Master's in nursing care or a Master's degree or medical doctorate. The VP will be accountable for resource allocation, financial management, and the establishment of patient care standards, as well as for fostering a culture of research, education, and collaboration. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Perioperative Services include administration, human resources development, fiscal management, and participation in professional and community organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a multidisciplinary team, be adept at using data to drive performance, and have strong project management skills. They should also be experienced in risk management, and technology integration, and be committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care. The role demands a visionary leader who can enhance staff relationships, promote professional behavior, and contribute to the Magnet designation process. The candidate should be open to diverse backgrounds and experiences, and be dedicated to the values of the organization, including fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous learning.
