The Retail Store Associate role provides an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused environment, working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, showing compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact and assist with locating additional items when needed Accurately perform cashier duties—handle cash, checks and credit card transactions following company policies Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks as directed Support opening and closing store activities as needed Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are stocked and operational with up-to-date services and tools Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people toward better health Qualifications Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods, lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and overhead lifting as needed Visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visually inspecting small parts/details Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Compensation and Benefits Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20 Time Type: Part time Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour The pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for positions in the relevant job grade; actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors Our people fuel our future.
