Recruiter

We are seeking someone with recruiting, human resources, and possibly even payroll experience for a position at a manufacturing facility in Seneca. Payroll is not required, as this person would just be a back-up to the payroll person if they were out, but HR experience and some recruiting or recruiting support experience are required. Schedule is M-F 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. After 90 days, this position will have 1 work-from-home day!

DETAILS

Working with staffing agencies to coordinate recruitment for hourly positions Coordinating and conducting orientations weekly Processing onboarding paperwork, such as I9's and e-verify Ensuring strict adherence to EEOC hiring practices Process background checks If possible, filling in for payroll person if they are out sick or on vacation Coordinate interviews with hiring managers Inform and guide hiring managers with regards to compliance issues Assist HR with paperwork with regards to employee relations or investigations, occasionally taking statements if necessary or escalating situations to the appropriate HR personnel Serve as a point of contact for employee questions for basic HR questions or elevate to the appropriate person Assist with FMLA and LOA requests Assist with general HR tasks, such as a filing and other administrative support Build rapport with plant employees

QUALIFICATIONS

4-5 years of HR experience preferred Recruiting experience and/or recruiting support experience required Onboarding experience, especially I-9 and e-verify, required Payroll processing experience a big plus, but not required Able to work in Seneca Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Can work 1 day at home after 90 days Comfortable working in a metal manufacturing environment Comfortable assisting HR team where needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Find Great People | FGP
