A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (ABM) As an entry‑level ABM, you will go through an 18‑24 month on‑the‑job paid training program. After training, you will manage your own branch. Promotion to Branch Manager typically requires relocation, and we provide a full relocation package. Your main focus is helping customers meet their financial goals. You actively seek opportunities to originate new loan business by contacting customers and listening to their needs to recommend the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. You educate customers on lending services, credit improvement, and debt consolidation, and you help them through the loan application process. You handle tasks such as evaluating loan applications, performing risk analysis, making credit decisions, administering loan closings, and processing insurance claims. You assist the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and developing plans to meet sales goals while promoting our core values and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; ideal majors include business, finance, sales or related field. 1 year or more of customer‑facing sales experience preferred but not required. Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer‑relations skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, and successfully navigate priorities. Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. Must meet acceptable standards for criminal history, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen. Eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products. Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion to Branch Manager; full relocation package for moves over 50 mi.
