Make a meaningful impact this school year as a Middle School Science Teacher in a supportive educational environment near Cranston, RI. This contract position is perfect for educators who thrive when engaging curious minds and fostering a love of science among young learners. You'll guide approximately 20 students from grades 6 through 8, helping to shape their understanding of general science concepts.

Your workdays will follow the academic calendar, beginning with teacher orientation on August 24th and students joining on August 31st. The school day runs from 7:45 AM to 2:55 PM, giving you a consistent and predictable schedule. The classroom community you'll help build can serve as a strong foundation for student growth and achievement all year long.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification for middle school or secondary general education.
• Demonstrated experience teaching science at the middle school level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Able to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Passion for making science approachable and exciting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging science lessons for grades 6, 7, and 8.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
• Maintain a supportive, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Provide feedback and communication with families about student performance.
