Join Marina Landscape, Inc. and become an owner! * Accounts Payable Manager Marina Landscape, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full-cycle accounts payable process, managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supervising Accounts Payable staff. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the monthly Accounts Payable close process and ensure all invoices and expenses are properly accounted for. • Review and approve invoices, payment requests, and account coding for accuracy and compliance. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies. • Oversee weekly check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, and cash forecast requirements. • Manage annual 1099 reporting and filing requirements. • Prepare account analyses, financial reports, and ad hoc reporting for management. • Coordinate and provide Accounts Payable documentation and support during internal and external audits. • Develop, implement, and maintain Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and internal controls. • Monitor and improve Accounts Payable processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Manage vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and corporate credit card programs. • Work closely with banks to ensure proper handling of Accounts Payable transactions. • Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics related to Accounts Payable operations. • Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and other departments to improve workflows and business processes. • Assist with budgeting activities and monitor departmental spending. • Respond to financial inquiries and provide accounting support to management and operational teams. • Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate Accounts Payable staff. • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and financial controls. • Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. • Deliver exceptional customer service to vendors, clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of Accounts Payable experience, including supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and accounting principles Experience with vendor management, reconciliations, reporting, and audits Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines What We're Looking For: Strong leadership and people management skills Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Orange, CA 92868 (Required) Work Location: In person *Marina Landscape, Inc. provides a family atmosphere where each of its team members are valued, and their ideas heard.
