Collections Representative I

Collections Representative ICanon Financial Services, Inc. (CFS) located in Burlington, NJ is currently seeking a Collections Representative I. This individual will handle both 1-30 day past due customers as well as 31+ day accounts. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Wednesday and Thursday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Duties include but are not limited to:Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short paymentsResponsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accountsCustomer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memosBuild and maintain working relationships with Customers, Dealers, other Canon entities, and associatesFollows through on all issues timely and accurately to resolution and ensure escalation when necessary for casesResolve customer delinquency to ensure resolution prior to 90 daysAccountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accountsResolves disputes such as insurance, asset usage, sales tax, equipment disputes, property tax, monetary adjustments etc. in a timely fashionHas skip tracing/account reconciliation knowledgeUpdate core systems with case management while updating and maintaining both the contact and virtual account databaseResponsible to provide professional, courteous, responsive and accurate service to our customers that is in harmony with the Canon Brand imageEffective and efficient handling of customer transactions while maintaining customer focus, collaborating and communicating in real timeAbility to make sound, factual based timely decisions to provide an extraordinary service experience with customersSuccessfully completes other projects as assigned by managementAbility to manage customers with multiple schedulesWe are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $18.16 - $27.19 hourlyCanon Financial Services offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) Savings Plan, discretionary profit sharing, discretionary success sharing, educational assistance, recognition programs, vacation, and much more.We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor.
