Materials Handler

Job TitleEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the docksCompare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing listInspect deliveries, report damages or shortages to appropriate person and process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory itemsOrganize and store received items in appropriate areasMatch shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperworkSafety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employeesDexterity: Employee would work with their hands and need to be able to lift or hold heavy itemsMust have excellent organizational skillsOther duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
