Prepare and distribute daily production commitments. Update Kanban boards and production status throughout the shift. Monitor production progress and communicate schedule changes. Assist supervisors in tracking daily output and productivity. Production Planning Coordinate work orders and production paperwork. Verify production priorities with supervisors. Prepare production reports and schedules. Track completion of production orders. Monitor overdue and carryover jobs. Material Coordination Verify material availability for scheduled jobs. Coordinate with Materials and Purchasing regarding shortages. Stage production paperwork for upcoming jobs. Report material shortages affecting production schedules. Data Entry & Reporting Maintain production logs and spreadsheets. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Maintain accurate production records. Communication Communicate production priorities to operators. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Shipping. Report production delays and equipment issues. Participate in daily production meetings. Lean Manufacturing Maintain Kanban boards. Assist with continuous improvement projects. Participate in production audits. Requirements Education Requirements and Skills High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience in a production planning or manufacturing environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
