Utility Invoice Analyst

Job Summary

TEOCO’s Audit team is seeking a smart, self-motivated, and collaborative candidate. This is a great opportunity to gain or build upon experience in utility consulting, developing a foundation of utility invoice knowledge and learning software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee will work 11AM - 8PM ET

• Employee duties will include the following:

• Research and make payment on invoices that have arrived too late for processing through normal workflows.

• Research and make payment on urgent past due notices and high-priority issues for any account that could be in jeopardy of service shut off.

• Utilize internal TEOCO systems to document payment activity to ensure accurate financial governance.

• Utilize specific client systems to gather data that will support decision making.

• Analyze collected data to determine if emergency payment is required.

• Vendor/Supplier outreach plus collaboration with internal teams. Handling root cause analysis and incorporating lessons learned from past incidents.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Attention to Detail, Problem Solving, and Excellent Written and Oral Communications are key skills that need to be demonstrated by the candidate.

• Past experience in the utility industry and with MS Excel helpful.

• Candidate can work remotely and will need to work 11am-8pm Eastern Time.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range : $45,000–$60,000 annually, with starting compensation determined based on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and alignment with our overall compensation structure.
