Back Plant Operator

Job Overview As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld’s industrial disposal process. Responsibilities Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools. Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures. Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures. Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks. Safely perform lock‑out/tag‑out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams. Complete additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. Requirements & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Experience operating heavy industrial equipment. Ability to work a rotating shift schedule. Physical Demands Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces. Ability to qualify to wear a full‑face respirator. Consistently work in various weather conditions. Pay and Benefits The hourly rate for this position is $29.12, based on an annualized salary of $50,669.00 - $69,683.00 for the primary location.
