Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments for residents in a long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; provide therapy focused on communication, cognition, and appropriate swallowing interventions.
- Monitor resident progress, document outcomes, and update treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social work) to coordinate care and optimize resident outcomes.
- Educate residents, families, and care partners on communication strategies and support needs.
- Ensure documentation and practice comply with regulatory and facility policies, including privacy and HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements
- Arizona license required for submission or must have already applied and be able to provide ETA for license approval.
- Ability to obtain or maintain Arizona licensure during the assignment; ETA accepted for license approval.
- Availability for 32 hours per week with day shifts; 8-hour shifts; 4 days per week.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and adapt to a hospital-adjacent care environment as needed for resident needs.
