Accounting Specialist

Well-established manufacturing company is growing and looking to add to the team in its Shared Services environment in Tampa, FL. This is a 100% in-office position with future hybrid option after conversion to permanent employment. We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional with established experience in Billing and Accounts Payable. salary: $25 - $32 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Utilize automated system to pull purchase orders for multiple locations as well as upload into customer portal Prepare, review, and distribute invoices to customers in compliance with company policies. Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize delays. Monitor overdue accounts, initiate collection efforts, and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances. Research short payments, ensure sales tax accuracy through automated system and upload exemption certificates, when needed Match invoices to purchase orders, upload into system, gain approvals, and ensure timely payments Vendor set-up and management Participate in month-end close and other misc. accounting related duties as needed Skills Billing (2 years of experience is required) Accounts Payable (1 year of experience is required) Excel (2 years of experience is required) Collections (1 year of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
