2027 Future Talent Program - Companion Animal Sales - Intern

This 12-week internship with Merck's Animal Health division offers field-based sales experience promoting companion animal parasiticide products. The intern will support regional sales strategy through customer calls, literature coordination, and administrative tasks at veterinary clinics.
Responsibilities
- Execute face-to-face sales calls and customer interactions at companion animal veterinary clinics
- Coordinate literature orders and sales support activities to drive regional sales strategy
- Serve as brand ambassador for parasiticide products and new technologies
- Support sales team with administrative tasks and territory coordination
Requirements
- Enrolled in bachelor's degree program with 2+ years completed by May 2027
- Available May 24–August 6, 2027 and able to travel up to 50%
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad
- At least 20 years old to meet rental car agreement requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to adapt and work independently
Compensation: $39,908–$111,111
