Construction Manager - Residential Solar

Job Description Job Description SolarTech is hiring an experienced Construction Manager for our Los Angeles operations to oversee multiple residential solar installation crews. As a Construction Manager, you will lead and manage 5–6 installation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to SolarTech’s quality standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of 5–6 solar installation crews, including installers and foremen Manage scheduling, crew assignments, and project timelines to ensure efficient workflow Ensure all projects are completed in compliance with OSHA, NEC, local AHJ, and company standards Drive quality control across all jobs, including inspections, rework reduction, and final walkthroughs Support and enforce safety protocols, including proper PPE use and job site safety practices Coordinate with project management, engineering, permitting, and warehouse teams to align materials and schedules Monitor crew productivity, performance, and accountability across multiple job sites Troubleshoot field issues including installation challenges, electrical concerns, and customer escalations Oversee and support Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) and complex electrical scopes as needed Train, coach, and develop foremen and crew members to improve performance and promote growth Ensure accurate job documentation, reporting, and status updates across all projects Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring a positive experience throughout installation Compensation Solely based on experience - Foreman will be above the stated pay range Benefits Opportunities for advancement Full dental, health, vision, and retirement plan Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment Company vehicle and gas card will be given to Foreman Schedule Full-time, Monday to Friday Occasional weekends as needed Overtime pay Company Description We are a premier solar energy provider dedicated to transforming lives through accessible clean energy solutions since 2001.
