Design Sales Associate - HB

• $1,000 SIGN ON BONUES! (after 9 months of employment)
• Starting Rate: $23/hourly + Sales Spiffs & Bonuses
• Profit Sharing (after 18 months)
• Full Time: 40 hours/5-day work week (Monday to Saturday)
  • Candidate should have Saturday availability (9 am to 2 pm)

• Determine overall flooring & design needs while offering a great customer experience
• Build genuine relationships with new/existing customers
• Schedule appointments for client design consultations
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
• Provide product suggestions, review measurements, estimate materials, present proposals, manage payments & oversee project quality
• Keep the install team on track by sharing clear notes + photos
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability
• Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend.
• Support customers by resolving issues or connecting them with the right experts

• 2+ years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Furniture Sales, Hotel Hospitality or similar role
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks & Microsoft Outlook
• Fundamental tech, social media & math skills
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
• Organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Time management skills & detailed oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Strong personal & professional judgment
• Flooring or design experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person
