Job Description
We're hiring a General Laborer to support daily shop operations in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This hands-on position includes pallet rebuilding, assisting with various production tasks, and using basic carpentry and mechanical skills. Candidates with experience in construction, mechanics, welding, or general labor are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild and repair wooden pallets
- Assist with general shop and production tasks as needed
- Use hand and power tools, including hammers and drills
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Assist with basic mechanical and carpentry projects
- Perform basic welding tasks when needed (experience is a plus)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous general labor, carpentry, mechanical, or shop experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
