Position Summary: Jewish Union Foundation MD seeks dedicated staff member to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professional (DSP) will provide direct care and vocational training to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting. Staff will provide guidance and support to individuals related to their individual goals. Full-time positions are available in Baltimore. Responsibilities Include:Working one-on-one with individuals as well as leading group sessionsJob Coaching at training and various work sitesMonitoring individuals' goals and progressProviding social skills training in individual and group settingsEnsuring paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely mannerCreating and implementing group activities.Supporting individuals in different community settingsSupporting individuals with varying capabilitiesQualification Requirements:A desire to work with adults with disabilitiesAbility to provide positive motivation to others and act as a role modelAbility to work well with othersAbility to be flexible and work in different settingsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience with ID/DD populationDriver's LicenseSalary: The salary range for this position is between $38,000 and $42,000, commensurate with experience.
