Senior Director, Business Development | Healthcare & Life Sciences US Remote Krisp is hiring a Senior Director of Business Development for healthcare and life sciences (HLS) to build and own our commercial motion in this vertical globally. Krisp’s AI voice products run inside contact centers at scale, and healthcare brings together voice volume, language barriers, and compliance pressure. The role targets health plans, health systems, PBMs, and life sciences companies, plus the outsourcing partners and global capability centers (GCCs) that operate their member and patient contact centers. This is a remote, US-based individual contributor role reporting directly to Krisp’s Chief Commercial Officer. Expect 30% to 40% travel. What you'll do Market Expansion and Opportunity Creation Build the healthcare and life sciences pipeline across payers, providers, PBMs, and life sciences, and across the BPOs and GCCs that run their voice operations. Focus on the functions where voice volume concentrates: member services, patient access and scheduling, prior authorization, revenue cycle and patient financial services, pharmacy help desks, nurse triage, medical information, and patient support programs. Position Krisp’s AI voice products against the outcomes these buyers are measured on. Partner with Sales on timely handoff of qualified opportunities and stay in the cycle where the relationship carries weight. Relationship Building Build senior relationships on both sides of the market. Enterprise side: Chief Experience Officers, VPs of Member Experience and Patient Access, Revenue Cycle leaders, Stars and Quality leaders, Heads of Patient Services in pharma, and the CISO and third-party risk teams that gate every deal. Partner side: vertical leaders and growth officers at the healthcare outsourcers. Represent Krisp at AHIP, HFMA, NAHAM, HLTH, HIMSS, Becker’s, and DIA. Product Awareness and Enablement Run demonstrations and build business cases tailored to healthcare buying centers. Translate Krisp’s capability into the language these buyers already use: CMS Star Ratings, CAHPS, language access, average handle time, and cost to serve. Work with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product through negotiation, security review, onboarding, and deployment. Report back what the vertical is actually buying. How payers and providers budget for language access and over-the-phone interpretation. Where patient access and prior authorization spend is moving. How HIPAA, HITRUST, and Section 1557 requirements shape procurement. What competitors are winning with. Deliver it to Product, Marketing, and Sales in a form they can act on. What we are looking for Experience 12+ years in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or a senior operating role inside healthcare or life sciences, or equivalent. A record of opening enterprise healthcare accounts and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Direct payer, provider, or healthcare BPO operating experience counts in place of a pure sales background. Networks Active relationships across health plans, health systems, PBMs, life sciences commercial and patient services organizations, and the healthcare-focused outsourcers and GCCs. Ability to turn those relationships into first meetings quickly. Skills Fluency in healthcare buying centers and vocabulary: payer versus provider, member services versus patient access, revenue cycle, prior authorization, Stars and HEDIS, hub and patient support services. Working knowledge of HIPAA, business associate agreements, HITRUST, and Section 1557 language access requirements. Able to build a business case with real numbers. Strong presenter in English. Location and Availability Based in the United States, remote, with global vertical ownership. 30% to 40% travel, including international. Comfortable working across time zones with a global team. Personal Attributes Self-starter who can build a vertical from a standing start. Credible with clinical, operations, security, and procurement audiences in the same week. Relationship-oriented, direct, and comfortable owning a market alone.
