The Opportunity As a full-time Controller, you'll lead and support high-impact accounting and controllership projects that help clients improve financial operations, strengthen controls, and maintain compliance. You'll work across a variety of industries and business environments, applying your expertise to solve complex challenges and drive lasting improvements. At 8020, you'll gain exposure to diverse projects without the extensive travel requirements often associated with consulting. Recent Client Engagements Include: Establishing and optimizing month‑end close processes for a private equity‑backed consumer products company Designing and implementing internal controls for a rapidly growing e‑commerce business Leading ASC 842 lease accounting compliance initiatives for a national retail organization Redesigning chart of accounts structures and management reporting during finance transformation projects Managing accounting integration efforts following acquisitions for Fortune 500 companies Serving as Interim Controller during executive leadership transitions What We're Looking For We're seeking accounting professionals who combine strong technical expertise with a collaborative, client‑focused mindset.
