Position Overview
The Server Assistant role is responsible for supporting the service team and helping deliver a seamless guest experience. Server Assistants play a critical role in maintaining dining room readiness, assisting with service execution, and ensuring guests receive attentive and efficient hospitality throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, hospitality-driven, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Support servers and management teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Assist with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, and dining room organization throughout service
- Deliver water, bread, food, and other service items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining room service stations
- Assist with polishing glassware, flatware, and other service equipment
- Communicate effectively with service, kitchen, and management teams to support smooth operations
- Support opening, closing, and side work responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant
- Anticipate operational needs and provide support wherever needed during service
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service environment preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interest in hospitality, food, and beverage service
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
