At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:It is the primary responsibility of the Associate Legal Counsel to perform, at the direction of a designated Legal Counsel and other senior department attorneys (as applicable), professional legal work related to assigned matters for MGM Resorts International and subsidiary organizations.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Supports M&A activity, including drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements, coordinating due diligence efforts, and assisting in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and joint venture agreementsDrafts, negotiates and reviews a variety of domestic and international agreements relating to the Company's development efforts, including consulting agreements, technical services agreements and management agreementsAssist on securities filings and provides support on corporate governance matters, including with respect to the annual meeting of stockholders.Provide sound, well?reasoned legal advice to the Company's various groupsDevelops and maintains strong business relationships among the various internal business groups requiring legal supportDemonstrate leadership and team?working skills in support of a collaborative environmentSupervise paralegals and staff on work assignmentsExercises discretion and independent judgment commensurate with specialized legal skills and experienceTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Hold a Juris Doctor5+ Years of Prior Relevant ExperienceM&A/Corporate experience from a top law firm - PreferredInternational transactions and business experience - PreferredExperience in supervising and coordinating outside counsel and other advisors both nationally and internationally - PreferredExperience with public corporations and corporate governance - PreferredWillingness to travel domestically and internationally - PreferredPrevious experience working in a resort setting - PreferredTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and moreFree parking on and off shiftHealth & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community
