PBMC Processing Technician

A leading biotech organization is seeking a PBMC Processing Technician with clinical laboratory experience to join a highimpact team supporting therapeutic research!
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Location: Houston, TX
What You'll Do
- Perform PBMC isolation using Ficoll or similar densitygradient methods, including independent enrichment and manual/automated cell counts.
- Support Flow cytometry, IHC, and other cellbased assays across multiple project types.
- Process clinical samples and execute assays according to SOPs while contributing to method development and optimization.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory instrumentation; assist with basic cellculture maintenance.
- Run QC samples, analyze data, and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
- Manage reagent and consumable inventory and perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Partner with scientists to qualify assays for new studies
- Collaborate with QA to ensure adherence to CLIA, GLP, GCP, and internal quality standards.
- Help train new team members on assays, workflows, and SOPs.
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and highperforming lab environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related discipline.
- Handson PBMC processing experience is required.
- Working knowledge of GLP, CAP/CLIA, and ISO laboratory standards.
