About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27609!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years including telemetry experience License: NC or Compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Required charting experience: EPIC - Previous charge experience: 2 years - Patient ratio experience: 4-5 Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in step down care. The role includes providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Daily census is approximately 32 patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients. They will manage intravenous medications and fluids. The required skills include central line management, chest tube care, and wound care. Bilingual communication is preferred but not mandatory. The nurse must be available to work every other weekend. One major holiday will also be a requirement. An interdisciplinary team provides support including respiratory services and social services. Modules for training will be completed annually as part of continued education. Candidates should be responsive to compliance deadlines and training requirements. Attendance is monitored, and up to three absences are permitted within the contract duration. Excessive tardiness or no call/no show incidents may lead to contract review.
