Staff Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This role is well suited for someone who can manage core financial activities with accuracy, maintain reliable records, and contribute to timely month-end processes. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with ledger activity, transaction posting, and account support in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Prepare and record journal entries to keep financial data accurate and current.• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing transactions, reconciling balances, and resolving discrepancies.• Process cash applications and post receipts promptly to support accurate account records.• Monitor accounts receivable activity and follow through on open items to help maintain healthy aging.• Use SAP to enter, track, and validate accounting transactions and supporting information.• Assist with month-end close tasks, including account analysis and preparation of supporting schedules.• Review financial records for completeness and identify issues that require correction or follow-up.Requirements• Experience working in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.• Practical knowledge of journal entry preparation and general ledger maintenance.• Hands-on experience using SAP in an accounting environment.• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes, including cash posting and payment application.• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage financial data accurately.• Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines.• Clear communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders.Job typeFixed Term
