Local metal processing plant in Lancaster, NY looking for an experienced part time Data Entry Clerk to join their team!!

We are hiring a part-time Data Entry Clerk for a busy office supporting sales and operations. This is primarily a computer-based data entry role, not an accounts payable or accounting position; but applicants with AP experience are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do most of the day

• Enter and process sales orders and sales invoices in Sage
• Work in Excel throughout the day with a high level of accuracy
• Keep records organized and up to date

Other office support as needed

• Assist with HR tasks, daily temporary employee attendance, and payroll support
• Make copies, scan documents, and help with purchasing
• Answer the main phone line (not a high-volume call center)
• Back up the Freight Coordinator for shipping/receiving when they are out of the office

What we’re looking for

• Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills
• Comfortable using computers all day (Sage and Excel experience preferred)
• Reliable, organized, and able to jump between office tasks
• Able to communicate clearly with the team

Schedule / Compensation

• Part-time 1st shift hours - 5 days a week, flexible between 8am and 4pm
• On-site in Lancaster, NY
• Pay range for the role is $20-$21 hourly
