HR Generalist

A growing organization is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.

This is a hands-on role with exposure across employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, HR administration, safety, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with a high level of independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions
• Support employee relations matters and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
• Manage HR support requests and identify trends or recurring issues
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, E-Verify, and related documentation
• Manage personnel files and ensure accurate HRIS records
• Coordinate 30/60/90-day reviews and support the performance management process
• Respond to employment verification requests
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Support employee investigations and disciplinary processes
• Provide guidance on leave of absence, workplace concerns, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters
• Support acquisitions and integrations, including employee onboarding, benefits, communications, and HR process implementation
• Assist with OSHA documentation, workers' compensation reporting, and workplace safety initiatives
• Partner with the Safety team to coordinate and track employee safety training
• Conduct HRIS audits and maintain accurate employee information
• Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and overall employee experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
• 2–5 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• HR certification is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization with changing priorities
• Strong employee relations and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
• Resourceful, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
• Comfortable working with employees and leaders at all levels
