This opportunity is ideal for a motivated pharmacist seeking a contract-to-hire role in a well-established retail pharmacy setting. Located in Bronx, NY, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team managing a prescription volume of approximately 200 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions, ensuring patient safety and compliance (no vaccines administered)
• Collaborating closely with a team composed of 3 pharmacy technicians, 1 delivery person, and the store manager
• Utilizing the BestRx system for prescription processing; training available for candidates new to BestRx

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (4 days a week, no weekends)

Desired Qualifications:

• Must hold a clear and active New York state pharmacist license
• Local candidates preferred for ease of transition
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with BestRx is a plus but not required as training will be provided
