Job Description
We are seeking a Receiving Clerk to join a fast-paced team supporting the receipt, documentation, organization, and processing of products returned by customers. This position combines hands-on receiving and material handling with computer-based data entry and recordkeeping.
Monday- Friday 8am - 4:30pm Fully onsite
Responsibilities
- Receive and process products returned by customers due to complaints or product issues
- Open, inspect, organize, and stage packages of returned products
- Accurately enter returned products and associated information into a database
- Log products in a timely and consistent manner
- Sort and separate returned products based on the appropriate area or department for further investigation
- Prepare and forward returned products for investigation
- Maintain organized storage of retained returned products
- Track materials to ensure products are properly documented and routed
- Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support the effectiveness of the department's quality system
- Communicate with team members regarding returned products and processing needs
- Assist with other department tasks and projects as assigned by management
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting established department goals and deadlines
- Work overtime, including additional hours or weekends when needed to support department requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, material handling, data entry, or laboratory support preferred
- Experience working in a regulated, quality-controlled, or highly procedural environment is a plus
- Basic computer skills and experience working with data-entry systems
- Ability to organize, sort, track, and process multiple products
- Ability to perform hands-on receiving activities, including opening packages, moving materials, organizing products, and staging items for further processing
