About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Payroll and Benefits (Services and Operations) to lead and scale its payroll services business in the US and UK. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the company's growth in the payroll market, with a focus on customer value, retention, and long-term success. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the strategy for payroll services and operations, building and scaling service models, and ensuring operational excellence. Strong US payroll experience, at least 5 years of leadership in B2B SaaS payroll services, and a proven track record in scaling and improving service delivery are essential. The role requires a leader with strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence revenue and P&L, and a background in building services models that support growth from SMB to mid-market. Applicants for the VP role at the company should possess strong cross-functional leadership skills and an innovative mindset, particularly in the use of AI and automation to enhance service delivery. Experience in a high-growth or evolving business, as well as a background in working with services partners, is advantageous. The role demands a leader who can partner effectively with product, engineering, customer success, sales, and operations teams to drive exceptional customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payroll domain, although broader service leaders with meaningful payroll experience are also encouraged to apply.
