Design Engineer

Job Title: Warehouse Design Engineer Client: CNH Job ID: 29570 Location: c Job Summary CNH is looking for an experienced Warehouse Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in warehouse design, warehouse operations, and project management. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with AutoCAD, Creo, Warehouse/Factory Layout Design, WMS, and SAP/ERP systems . This role involves analyzing warehouse processes, designing efficient warehouse layouts, implementing process improvements, supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and managing warehouse optimization projects. Key Responsibilities Design and optimize warehouse and factory layouts using AutoCAD and Creo . Analyze warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, issuing, cycle counting, and shipping. Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase warehouse efficiency. Evaluate, support, and implement Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) . Collect and analyze warehouse data to identify material consumption trends and support MRP planning. Prepare reports and presentations with recommendations for warehouse improvements. Manage warehouse improvement projects such as 5S , layout redesign, and process optimization. Develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Work closely with clients to gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and provide training. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Optimize the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Processing . Stay updated on warehouse management best practices, industry trends, and warehouse automation technologies. Master's degree is a plus. 5–8 years of experience in warehouse management, warehouse consulting, or a related role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and industry best practices. Experience implementing or supporting WMS and SAP MM/WM or other ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
