Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Prepare and distribute the weekly work schedule for the Security department.
• Accurately maintain weekly employee attendance and vacation records.
• Provide direct supervision to the security supervisors.
• Resolve issues that cannot be resolved by officers and supervisors.
• Oversee investigations and ensure proper standard operating procedures are being followed, and that all is in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain the controlled key system and employee card access system.
• Provide written reports of any security incident occurring within their shift.
• Assist in the filing and dissemination of all written reports of activity.
• Ensure that the destruction of used cards and dice from table games is done in an appropriate fashion.
• Ensure that Security members are escorting fills, credits, and documents to and from the cage and pit in a manner that follows all regulations and aligns with standard operating procedures.
• Verify payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
• Take photos for ID badges and ensure accuracy of data being entered the employee card access system.

Required skills and abilities qualifications:

• Language ability to read and interpret documents.
• Math ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office experience required.
• Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Coach and counsel employees, issue disciplinary action, and prepare annual performance reviews.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in the security field or equivalent.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

• Work environment is high noise and exposure to smoke on the casino floor.
• Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Employee will be required to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Employee must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.
• This job requires strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
