At Valleywise Health, education is at the heart of exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and proactive Medical Education Coordinator to support the next generation of physicians and advanced practice clinicians.

In this impactful role, you will serve as a key member of the Academic Affairs team, coordinating undergraduate medical education and advanced practice clinician student programs across the health system. You will work alongside clinical leaders, educators, students, and healthcare professionals to ensure an outstanding educational experience while keeping complex programs running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

As the Medical Education Coordinator, you will:

• Coordinate day-to-day operations for undergraduate medical education and advanced practice clinician student programs.
• Serve as a vital resource for students, faculty, preceptors, and clinical leaders across Valleywise Health.
• Manage schedules, rotations, orientations, and educational activities to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, reports, and confidential academic documentation.
• Support educational compliance, policies, procedures, and program requirements.
• Assist with student onboarding, communication, and training-related activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the learner experience.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Academic Affairs initiatives and special projects.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Annual Salary Range: $53,996.80 - $79,643.20

Qualifications
Education:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Experience:

• Requires either two (2) years of medical education related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities or, one (1) year of experience working in the Valleywise Health' Academic Affairs Department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires excellent record-keeping skills, office organizational skills, and computer literacy necessary for entering and manipulating statistical data, creating schedules, and an ability to maintain detailed, accurate, and complete records of departmental activities and confidential personnel/training records.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills and flexibility necessary to be socially perceptive in accepting, relaying, and respecting confidential information, communicating policies and procedures, and dealing with individuals from a variety of disciplines and diverse backgrounds.
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with a broad range of leaders and medical professionals across the health system.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
• Requires strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to formulate practical solutions.
• Requires initiative and ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
