Human Resources ManagerThe Human Resources Manager must be an experienced professional with knowledge of all matters relating to Human Resources: recruitment, hiring, benefits, training, employee relations, engagement, Health, Safety and compliance with both federal and state law. It is imperative for Human Resources to ensure the hotel is hiring the best talent through strategic staffing, ensuring this talent is receiving comprehensive training, creating a safe and productive work environment and acting as an operational business partner, process facilitator and change agent.Manage and ensure the efficient administration of the Human Resources functionCommunicate employment, education, professional development, benefits, compensation and team member and labor relations practices for the hotelEnsure hotel compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulationsRecruit, interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate team membersManage the financial aspects of the department's budgetFoster a positive culture within the hotel to include leading by example and providing guidance and support to all management and hourly team membersManage Team Member monthly celebrations and recognitionPartnering with Management to motivate Team Members and continue the positive culture throughout the HotelWork closely with the General Manager to align with Company goalsAdminister leave of absence paperwork and communicationConduct investigations and ensure compliance with company policiesProcess PayrollOther duties as assigned3+ years of Human Resources Management experience requiredExperience with Affirmative Action Plans or working for a government contractor preferredExperience in a hotel environment highly preferredDegree in HR or HR Certification with experience requiredPrevious experience processing payroll requiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skillsPrevious experience with UltiPro preferredBilingual in English/Spanish preferredMedical (two options) with visionDental401(k) with 4% company matchVoluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident Insurance, Voluntary Hospital IndemnityVoluntary Term Life Insurance (self, spouse/domestic partner, and children)Short-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityVacation and Sick payEducation assistanceMajor hotel discounts at over 7,000 hotels worldwideOther company discountsSheraton Suites Orlando Airport is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
