Newark, NJ, United States | req34022 Work Schedule: 2nd Shift What you will enjoy doing* Youwill be required to operate and monitor acetylene generation and processingequipment and perform acetylene cylinder filling assignments including inspections, calculations, labeling, handling, and maintenance Execute daily work assignments ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements Conduct troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and routine inspection ofequipment Operate and maintain process machinery and equipment You will need to perform pre-fill and post-fill cylinder inspections to ensure safe transport and use It will be critical to regularly inspect and maintain filling equipment and monitoring devices and accurately complete and maintain cylinder fillingrecords What makes you great This role requires a High School Degree or GED and minimum 1-year experience in anindustrial setting You must complete company-administered instruction and pass exams in bothwritten and practical demonstrations You will demonstrate ability to understand, follow procedures, and completetasks on time Forklift training and experience are preferred You are capable of lifting 10-20 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting50-100 pounds Ability to move containers and pallets weighing up to 2000 pounds usingmaterial handling equipment is required Safety is a top priority in all Driver/Operations You must perform basic math functions and read/comprehend relevantdocuments Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
