Are you in?Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new roleWe are seeking a Senior Director, Global Applications Marketing to lead and scale our Smart Home & Consumer business. Reporting directly to the head of the organization, this role carries end-to-end global responsibility for application marketing, G2M, strategic positioning, and execution across key growth segments.This leader will define and drive global application strategies, shape differentiated value propositions, and ensure strong alignment between product roadmaps, customer needs, and market opportunities. The role requires a proven global leader capable of managing senior, geographically distributed teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders across regions and divisions.Global Strategy & LeadershipOwn global accountability for performance and results across Smart Home & Consumer applications and marketingOwns end-to-end application roadmap for business-critical applications, including ongoing commercial assessment and alignment to the product roadmapSets application strategy and develops application content for bluebooks, grounded in strong understanding of application use casesLead a high-impact global organization, including multiple senior direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performanceDrive cross-regional alignment to ensure consistency in strategy execution while enabling regional market agilityDefines the full Infineon offering (products, software, services, ecosystem partners), supports go-to-market (G2M) activities, and engages with standardization authorities to assess business impactApplications & Market LeadershipOwn the end-to-end global application roadmap for business-critical use cases, including commercial assessment and prioritizationTranslate customer and application requirements into compelling value propositions and system-level solutionsDevelop application blueprints, reference designs, and solution narratives grounded in deep understanding of end-use marketsIdentify and scale strategically important, fast-growing applications globallyMarket Intelligence & PositioningLead global market and competitive analysis, synthesizing regional insights into actionable strategiesDefine value drivers, pricing frameworks, and differentiation strategies across applicationsShape Infineon’s positioning as a trusted system partner in Smart Home & Consumer ecosystemsGo-to-Market & Ecosystem EngagementDrive global go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution in close collaboration with sales, product lines, and regional teamsDefine the full solution offering (hardware, software, services, ecosystem partnerships)Engage with key customers, partners, and industry bodies/standardization organizations to influence market direction and unlock growthOperational Excellence & GovernanceEnsure strong resource allocation, prioritization, and execution discipline across global teamsBalance strategic initiatives with operational delivery, driving measurable business outcomesLead organizational planning, capability building, and talent development at a global scaleYour ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeedThis is a high-impact global leadership role at the forefront of shaping Infineon’s Smart Home & Consumer strategy—with direct influence on growth, innovation, and market leadership.Leadership & ExperienceProven global leadership experience in semiconductor, electronics, or adjacent industriesDemonstrated success leading large, geographically distributed teams, including senior leadersStrong track record in applications marketing, product marketing, or system solutions leadershipStrategic & Business AcumenAbility to operate at both strategic and execution levels, translating vision into resultsDeep understanding of Smart Home, Consumer, IoT, or Edge applications and ecosystemsExperience driving global strategies across diverse markets and regulatory environmentsCore CapabilitiesAccountable for the performance and results of multiple related units, ensuring shared ownership across teamsDevelops plans across business, production, operations, and organizational priorities, delivering outcomes in fast-changing business and/or regulatory environmentsControls resources and supports policy formation within the area of responsibility, promoting transparent and equitable decision-makingMakes decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives, balancing competing priorities thoughtfullyApplies innovative problem-solving, looking beyond existing methodologies and their own discipline to define and resolve complex problemsLeads and develops large, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals, fostering an inclusive and supportive cultureProvides input to functional/departmental strategy, aligning execution with broader organizational goalStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to navigate complex, cross-functional challengesExpertise in market analysis, value proposition development, and pricing strategiesExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global organizationsPassion for building inclusive, high-performing team#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
