Location: Newark, NY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening | 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Schedule: 5×8 Hours
Pay Rate: $24–$27/hr
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care in a Long-Term Care facility. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Perform safe patient transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance.
Take and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
Provide skin care and support pressure injury prevention.
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
Follow infection control and PPE protocols.
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff.
Complete required documentation accurately.
Active CNA certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience .
First-time travelers accepted.
Must be willing to float as needed.
Every other weekend required.
Travelers must live 50+ miles from the facility .
Fingerprint forms must be submitted within 48 hours of signing .
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate: $24–$27/hr
